Strategic Planning for the Villages At Mt. Hood
The Mt. Hood Area Chamber of Commerce is serving as the fiscal agent and grant recipient for a $12,000 grant received from the Mt. Hood Economic Alliance to assist a broad range of stakeholders in the Hoodland area (also known as the Villages of Mt. Hood) from Alder Creek to Road 35 past Rhododendron in a unique effort to come together and develop consensus on a strategic plan for the area. All members of these communities are urged to participate by keeping up to date on the developments, attending any of the meetings of the Steering Committee/Community Action Team, and giving input on how you would like to see this community shape its future. The Strategic Plan was completed in Dec. 2003. Summaries of the meetings held in developing the plan, copies of the Working Agreements and a copy of the final plan are posted here. Ongoing meetings to implement the plan are held on the second Wednesday of the month from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hoodland Fire Station.
